This book is a collection of my visions of Jesus, Our Blessed Mother Mary and the Apostles. They read like factual short stories that make the New Testament come alive and they helped to strengthen my faith.
The visions began about ten years ago. In all honesty they were more like very precise dreams. It was as if I was watching a movie with an all-star cast of Oscar winners. They always came at night when I retired to bed. In reality I rarely dream and I never remember them when I do.
When I awoke the first time I thought maybe I had been watching something on television. But it was more realistic than any movie I had seen. I felt I was actually there in each scene with these New Testament figures and I could recall every second. And so because I was a writer…I wrote. I wrote what I witnessed.
I carefully wrote down what I experienced in my sleep if I was indeed asleep. The very first vision or dream I experienced was of Mary visiting Nero in Rome attempting to gain the release of the Apostle Peter. I had always assumed that Mary had passed away long before Peter’s imprisonment, but we don’t actually know. Maybe this vision was as it actually happened?
As I finished and reread the scene it was exactly what I witnessed, felt and believed. Even the names of the soldiers like Stephan and Barcus just popped up from out of the blue.
One month later I experienced another vision and the next month, yet another. The three visions together were actually three parts to one story which began with Jesus on the cross and ended with Peter’s crucifixion.
It seemed to be a realistic snapshot of what life was like for Christians in the early church: The drama, the excitement, the miracles and the joy of spreading the Good News. This became my novella, Acts Untold. (Available as an eBook everywhere)
It could be I have an over-active brain, though some have told me just the opposite, or it could be that I was meant to share these visions with the world in hopes it may help to strengthen the faith of those facing challenges. I can’t say, but I do know it strengthened my faith and I hope someone in need may happen upon this little eBook at a time they need to read it. I pray God blesses you and your family.
This eBook is available FREE on all platforms as part of my writing ministry.
