Perk Perkins is an American author and award-winning journalist whose weekly column, The Smile Factor, ran for nearly a decade in the Midwest. A prolific writer across all genres, Perk has published everything form nonfiction articles to novels and screenplays.
His short fiction has drawn accolades with multiple publications in 2025. After a lifetime in the American Heartland, Perk has spent the last six years as a global nomad living and writing in South Africa, Albania and Sicily.
